Expand Your
Leadership Capacity
Coaching, team development, and professional learning that sharpen judgment where it is exercised: alone, under pressure, with consequences.
Know If You're Ready to Grow
Independent, evidence-based assessment across six domains, so growth decisions rest on what is true rather than what is hoped.
Make What Works Outlast You
Codified systems, documented practice, and clear roadmaps that transfer to the next campus, the next leader, the next cohort.
Shape the System, Not Just the School
Coalition strategy, family and community voice, and research translation that move the decisions determining thousands of students' futures.
Two decades in the chair.
THE DECISIONS YOU CAN'T TAKE BACK
Every school, network, and education organization eventually arrives at a decision it cannot take back.
Scale or wait. Renew or close. Hire or keep searching. Deepen the partnership or exit it. Fight for the policy or accept the one written for you.
These decisions get made in rooms where the person holding the pen is often the only person in the room who will be held responsible for it. That isolation is not a personality flaw. It is a structural feature of the job. And it is why capable leaders, under pressure and without evidence, make decisions they would never make with a clear head and a good instrument in front of them.
Vine Elements is built for those rooms.
We are not a training vendor and we are not a cheerleader. We bring independent evidence, codified systems, and direct counsel to leaders and boards at the moments that determine what an organization becomes and, therefore, what a child's education becomes.
Founded and led by Kelli B. Marshall, who has sat in the chairs our clients occupy: founding principal, CEO and Superintendent of a network of schools, and SVP of School Support in non-profit.

What Changes When You Stop Deciding Alone
Sharpen a Leader's Judgment
One-on-one executive coaching for CEOs, superintendents, executive directors, and principals. Not encouragement. A trusted, confidential thought partner who has held the role, will tell you the truth, and stays in the room while the hard decision gets made.
Build a Team That Can Decide Without You
Leadership teams that have never agreed on what excellent looks like will pull in five directions and call it collaboration. Vine designs the coaching architecture, observation cycles, and norming protocols that get a team calibrated, then coaches them until the structure holds.
Grow Skill Across the People Who Do the Work
Customized professional learning and workshops built for your context, grounded in trust, role clarity, and instructional coherence. Practical tools, real practice, and follow-up support so the learning survives past the last slide.
Know Whether You Are Ready Before You Commit
Growth decisions are made on optimism and made irreversible by capital. Vine conducts independent site reviews and readiness assessments across six domains, producing a scored rating and a board- and funder-ready report on what is strong, what is thin, and what will break under weight.
Make What Works Transferable
When the model lives in the founder's head and a few extraordinary teachers, it does not survive scale, succession, or replication. Vine documents the actual mechanics of what produces your results and structures them so a new campus, a new principal, or a new cohort can run them without you standing beside them.
Shape the Decisions Made Above Your Building
The accountability rules, the boards that write them, and the voices those boards hear will determine the fate of more students than any single school leader ever will. Vine helps organizations and coalitions gather family and community voice systematically, translate evidence into usable language, and mobilize school leaders into informed, organized action.
Connect
Before anything else, we name the decision in front of you. An initial consultation surfaces your mission, your pressures, and the choice you are actually trying to make. Some organizations arrive knowing it. Most do not, and finding it is the first piece of work.
What leaves the room: a clearly stated decision, a defined scope, and an honest answer about whether Vine is the right partner for it.
Build
Coaching, technical assistance, professional learning, and system design to turn the decision into working practice. We codify what already works so it can transfer, and we build what is missing so no one has to hold it in their head.
What leaves the room: a prioritized roadmap, codified systems, and leaders who have practiced the work rather than heard about it.
Diagnose
Independent, evidence-based review of your data, systems, instruction, governance, and stakeholder voice. We look for what is strong, what is thin, and what will break under weight. We report what we find, including the parts nobody wanted to hear.
What leaves the room: a written diagnostic with scored ratings by domain, the evidence behind each one, and a board- and funder-ready summary.
Transfer
The engagement ends. The instrument stays. We hand off the rubrics, protocols, coaching architecture, and feedback loops that carry the work forward, then we get out of the way. Vine's success is measured by how well your organization runs after we leave.
What leaves the room: everything. That is the point.
Decide
Most consulting skips this step and calls it planning. Planning assumes the decision is already made. We put the evidence in front of the people accountable for the choice, structure the conversation so the hard question actually gets asked, and stay in the room while it is answered. Scale or wait. Renew or close. Hire or keep searching. Deepen or exit.
What leaves the room: a decision, made with clear eyes, that the leaders and board can defend to anyone who asks why.

Working with Kelli Marshall has been such a transformative experience. She is not only an incredible leader but also a true thought partner. From the very beginning, she has guided me from the starting point to full execution helping turn ideas into meaningful action. Her strategic insight, encouragement, and ability to bring clarity to big visions have been instrumental in helping us make the impact we want with Latina youth. Kelli’s leadership inspires confidence and collaboration, and I’m deeply grateful for the way she continues to empower and support our mission.
Monica Casillas, Founder/ Executive Director
Amor Movement
I have SO much respect for her. She has taught me a ton over the years and has been such a fabulous mentor. She is tough, no-nonsense, but her high expectations for ALL is what makes her superior to others. Our educational system would be in a much better place if people cared about kids as much as she does.
